About the University -


This was established in 1930, Duke University School of Medicine is the youngest of the nation’s top medical schools. Ranked 8th among its peers, the School takes pride in being an inclusive community of outstanding learners, clinicians, investigators and staff where traditional barriers are low, interdisciplinary collaboration is embraced, and great ideas accelerate translation of fundamental scientific discoveries to improve human health locally and around the globe. The Duke Clinical Research Institute is the largest and oldest and  academic organization of its kind, and the School of Medicine is awarded more than $401 million for sponsored research. There are about 30 centers and institutes on campus there students can get involved in research projects.
